Everyday DevOps Tasks, Made Quicker
These tools cover jobs that come up when you run containers, schedule tasks and work with Git. The Docker Run to Compose Converter turns a long docker run command into a docker-compose.yml service. It keeps the ports, volumes and environment variables, so a one-off container is easy to save in version control.
For scheduled jobs, the Crontab Generator builds a cron expression from dropdowns and shows the next five run times. If you already have an expression, paste it into the Cron Expression Parser to read it in plain English. For example, 0 2 * * 1 means 2:00 AM every Monday.
The two cheatsheets are searchable references. The Git Cheatsheet groups commands by task, such as branching, merging and undoing changes. The Regex Cheatsheet explains each piece of syntax and lets you try it live. When a deploy script fails on file permissions, the Chmod Calculator turns rwxr-xr-x into 755 and back.
