  2. View the page thumbnails displayed in a grid showing the current page sequence.
  3. Click and drag any page thumbnail to its new position in the order - other pages shift automatically.
  4. On touch screens, tap the arrow buttons under a thumbnail to move that page one position earlier or later.
  5. Use the "Reset" button if you want to revert all changes back to the original page sequence.
  6. Click "Save Rearranged PDF", then download the file with pages in your new custom order.

How to Reorder Pages in a PDF

PDF Rearrange Pages lets you put the pages of a PDF in a new order by moving thumbnails. Drag a page to its new spot, or use the arrow buttons under it, then save the rearranged file.

Scans often come out in the wrong order, and slides or reports sometimes need a page moved to the front. After you upload a file, each page appears as a small image with its current position and its original page number. That makes it easy to see where every page came from. Reset puts everything back in the original order if you change your mind.

Dragging works best with a mouse. On a phone or tablet, tap the arrow buttons to move a page one place earlier or later. The tool accepts files with 2 to 100 pages and up to 50 MB, because it draws a thumbnail for every page.

Only the order changes. The pages are copied into a new file with the same text, images and quality, and the download ends in -rearranged. The thumbnails are drawn by pdf.js, whose helper script loads from a public CDN. Your PDF itself stays in your browser and is not uploaded.
