Each page gets a new /Rotate value, so viewers display it turned while the text and images inside stay exactly as they were.

  1. Upload the PDF file containing pages that need rotation correction.
  2. Review the page list, which shows each page number and any rotation the page already has.
  3. Choose 90, 180, or 270 degrees from the dropdown next to each page that needs correcting.
  4. To rotate every page at once, use the Rotate all pages buttons (0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees).
  5. Click "Apply Rotations" to generate the corrected PDF.
  6. Click the download button to save the rotated PDF, then check the orientation in your PDF viewer.

Fixing Sideways and Upside-Down PDF Pages

PDF Rotate turns PDF pages by 90, 180 or 270 degrees so they read the right way up. You can set each page on its own or rotate the whole document at once, then download the fixed file.

Sideways pages are common with scans and phone photos saved as PDF. A landscape table in a portrait report is another classic case. The tool lists every page. If a page already has a rotation, the list shows it, for example Current: 90 degrees.

The angle you choose is the final angle for that page, measured from its natural position. It is not an extra turn on top of the current one. So picking 0 undoes a rotation, and picking 90 for a page that already shows 90 changes nothing. The Rotate all pages buttons set every page to the same angle. The 270 option is the same as 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

Rotation does not touch the page content. PDF pages carry a rotation setting that viewers apply when they show the page, and the tool changes only that. Text stays selectable, and images keep full quality. There are no page thumbnails, so check the downloaded file in your viewer. If a page is still wrong, change its angle and click Apply Rotations again.
